Today I looked for flowers and bouquets that I like. We're visiting with a florist this upcoming weekend and I wanted to be armed with pictures! For anyone looking for flowers in Norman, I highlyrecommend you check out Birdie. They also have clothing and pretty things for your house!
Peony
I've always loved peonies, but they seem to be hard to find in June and can be pretty expensive, so I'm not sure that I'll get to use as many of these as I had originally planned!
In my search to find peony-like flowers I've found that Ranunculus look similar and make bouquets that are just as pretty!
Cabbage Roses
These are also sometimes called Garden Roses. I saw these on the Martha Stewart show and fell in love!
I love love love the fifth pic down. (Perhaps because those were the colors of my bouquet!) I just love the pale antiqueyness of the pink and green shades.

ReplyDeleteRanunculus are by far my favorite flower in the world but those peonies are so beautiful! I can't wait for the wedding to get closer!
